Discover what working on yourself c an look like

Professional Counseling and Wellness Services

Sometimes the beauty we’ve seen life has to offer us becomes overshadowed by an endless amount of negative thoughts or undesirable feelings or fears. This is not uncommon if you are struggling with conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar,  and/or have experienced a traumatic event or difficult life transitions. Perhaps it feels unfeasible for you to see the positive in your surroundings and in daily experiences. I want to assure you that it does not have to remain that way. You can choose to find comfort, and more importantly, rediscover the beauty in life despite trauma. Working on ourselves is a difficult, almost arduous task. However, I assure you it is also the most liberating feeling to break free of negative thoughts and maladaptive behavior. We cannot change traumatic events of our past, but I can assist you in transitioning negative perceptions and behaviors into positive ones. We’ll work collectively in your path toward achieving a satisfying and meaningful life.

When the other person is hurting, confused, troubled, anxious, alienated, terrified; or when he or she is doubtful of self-worth, uncertain as to identify, then understanding is called for.

The gentle and sensitive companionship of an empathetic stance... provides illumination and healing. In such situation deep understanding is, I believe, the most precious gift one can give to another.
